Television is something most of us have at home the average American home has more television sets than people Half of American homes have three or more television sets and only 19% have just one. the average person watches 4 to 5 hours each day .so what exactly are we watching ? the 80s to 90s when I was a kid growing up I could remember waking up at the crack of dawn with the bowl the size of Texas Full of cereal watching Saturday morning cartoons Saturday were the best of the week no school and I get to watch cartoons for most of the morning now in the 2000s you get cartoons 24 seven there 's not a Time of day or hour you can 't turn on the television set and find a cartoon showing now cartoons are even shown for a more mature audience from family guy American dad and many others not only are cartoon for a more mature audience but now more of our programs are full of content for an adult audience
Growing up in the 80s and 90s we will still see most of what is shown now on TV but I feel it was regulated more the sex violence and mature content was all still there but would show late at night if not at all now in the 2000s it 's almost impossible to not flip
