Worldwide people are discriminated for being different, this can lead to suicide.
Around 3.8% of adults worldwide identify as one of these gender and sexual differences, which may not seem like a lot, but that’s about 266 million people.
Take that 266 million people and tell them to change, do you think they will? Millions hide their sexuality or if they are transgender to try to fit into society. This is usually to avoid getting denied a job, acceptance, starting family issues, and judgements of peers and friends. Some people claim it’s a “trend”. Camps and programs are made to try to change these people, even though it never truthfully works. Forcing someone to change their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, it just as inhumane as you think their choices are. People can’t change their true beliefs. Some people might be doing it for attention but most are not. It’s not a phase. It’s not a choice it is who you are.
