ABSTRACT

Many changes have been witnessed in our life as the society develops. People are increasingly emphasizing about the work-life balance, and it is one of the most concerned topics nowadays. It is not only challenge for human resources management in the 21st century, but also it is challenging employees themselves and the interaction effect between employers and employees. Therefore, we will analyze from the employees' side on how to balance their work and life, and we will also talk about how employers is involved in the employees' personal life, and based on both sizes to find out what the hospitality industry needs to change and improve.

Like normal females in the workplace, she has two kids and a happy family; she has a good husband to support what she is doing (unfortunately her husband was died by accident in 2015). As one of the leaders in Facebook, Sandberg successfully manages and makes much profit to the company. As a mom, she will finish her job and walk out of her office every day at 5:30 and go home and make dinner for her two children at 6:00, and she keeps on doing that for a long time As a wife, she does well for communication, understanding each other and share the responsibilities. As an advocator, she published her book to encourage women do not give up their careers. She is good at playing each role. From workplace to family, from family to her personal life, she is definitely a good model to show female employees how to balance their work and families. She is good at using Time Management to balance and achieve her work and personal life. End her working day at a fixed time is a good example about time management. They are 31st ranking in world's top five hundred in 2015. Usually people will be proud that they are working for this company. However, in fact, there are constant reports about the continuous suicides by Foxconn employees in China since 2010. One after another suicide phenomenon began to attract all society's attention. Foxconn reported they arrange overtime to employees for a long time and it was against the Chinese law. It is not hard to analysis how the suicide phenomenon occurs frequently in Foxconn. They use employees just like disposable labour. Continuous overtime working will make employees have little sleep, have no time for personal and family activities, and harm employees' mental health, becoming anxious and depressed.
