This theory is taught in schools, but is trying to be forced out of the education system. The article “If you question critical race theory, crazed ideologues will attack you and hurt your children” by Tucker Carlson, an American conservative political commentator. Carlson states how he feels we shouldn’t teach children about “White supremacy” and “Anti-Blackness” and that we should ignore people who speak on these topics. Anyone who tries to ruin the great American image should be ignored and shamed. He uses pathos as a strategy to win people over to persuade them to believe his viewpoint benefits our country. He also believes CRT shouldn’t be taught to children because it embeds a bad depiction of how children will see America. Their culture should not traumatize kids. To avoid that, we should take CRT out of schools and disregard the topic. Moreover, Tucker Carlson broadcast his opinionated piece on Fox 2 News, which is a popular news channel. One of the particular opinions was how he blamed the schools and teachers for the CRT being spread across the country. In central Ohio, Columbus Academy is one of the top schools in the area. It has been said that they are a “race-obsessed” school and two parents weren’t going for this behavior. They spoke up about this issue and decided to act on it to defend the students. The school took this as an arousing drama and decided to deny their kids re-enrollment for the next school year.
