America a place where people could feel safe and now that we are the most powerful nation we are able to feel safe. The only way to keep our safeness is to elect very strong Presidents. Some of the strong presidents might not be able to run because of the “natural born law”. This law does not allow immigrants who are now American citizens to run for president. Even though Immigrants have all of the other requirements to become president they are not allowed to run. Immigrants should be allowed to run for president because, the law was originally put in to protect the country from Dukes, this country was built off immigrants, and the founding fathers wanted this country to be equal and this statement of “natural born” is not equal.
Firstly, America when it first Declared independence they were scared because they thought that British Dukes and Princes were going to buy there way into presidency. Now it is the 21st and we are allies with france and no one is rich …show more content…

These men wanted to stem off and make a land where they can feel free.These men were passionate about making a better world just like some of the immigrants today. In the article”Issue: Naturalized Citizens as United States Presidents”, it states,”The history of the United States is replete with scores of great and patriotic Americans whose dedication to this country is beyond reproach, but who happen to have been born outside of Her borders…. More than 700 recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor—our Nation’s highest decoration for valor—have been immigrants”(Document A). This quote show that immigrants are getting the same achievements as americans but they are not getting the rights to run for president. Immigrants are just like our founding fathers they are even ,more passionate because they get to live in the United States.
