Should Religion Be Taught In Public Schools

Do you know what your religious freedoms are in school, or what you can control in your learning? Well the role that religion plays in school should be minimal or none. Three reasons why religion should be kept to a minimum in U.S public schools are; the constitution, public school is public, and common sense.

The first reason is the constitution. The Constitution states that religion is separated from state. And because of its importance. The constitution is also trustable because it made by many trustworthy people, and has lasted over 100 years. Thus is at least fairly trustable, and changing it would be very controversial due to it being the foundation of our county, and may lead into a effect of changing other parts of the constitution like the bill of rights. The first option would be very time consuming and overall tedious, and would be very easy to mess up. The second option would be better because it is more simplistic and very minimal in a way that no one is represented when this is used it makes religion not important and minimal in school, and would be not as intrusive.
