Tattoos and piercings are becoming more and more common these days as the youth around the world start to pick up more on the idea that their body is a canvas to share stories and experiences. Employers are restricting tattoos and piercings because to some people it may be an eye sore. Employer miss out on loyal employees who are willing to do all they can for the business because they have some tattoos or piercings. Just because a person does not have tattoos does not mean that they are a better employee and will bring in more revenue. Allowing your employees to have piercings and tattoos allows them to feel at home where they can express themselves. Caring whether your employees feel this way reflects you as an employer, not only will your employees recognize this but your customers will start to notice how joyful it can be to be a part of the company. Allowing tattoos and piercings will cause your employees to be more satisfied, and satisfied employees equals satisfied customers. Satisfied customers equals more business, and more business equals more money. When the employees feel comfortable and at home the harder they will work and the longer they will stay, which will boost your employee retention.
