Should teachers be allowed to carry?

Shootings across america are not a new thing to us, in fact they have been going on for quite some time now. “The United States has 88.8 guns per 100 people, or about 270,000,000 guns, which is the highest total and per capita number in the world. 22% of Americans own one or more guns.” (https://gun-control.procon.org/) Whether it be school shootings, mall shootings, or even shootings in a church, we know that it is going to happen again and it has in the passed. We need to make a change and figure out why this is a problem in our amazing country. A solution for this problem of school shootings could possibly be arming teacher with gun. Teachers would have to have certain qualifications to be allowed to carry. Students would have a sense of security if teachers would be allowed to carry guns in schools. Safety in schools is a huge thing we need to focus on, not only are they innocent kids, but they are the future of the world and they will change and shape the world for years to come. New bills will make new mental health programs for schools,improve school communication,law enforcement and state agencies; create a gif task force, for school shooting. Bills don 't go far enough to prevent school shootings. Things we need to do, get more resource officers to protect our schools. Having only one resource officer to patrol an entire school is not enough, how do you expect one officer to
