Siddhartha has changed a lot and achieved the enlightenment after he decided to be one of the Sananas, his determination means he has to go through fasting to cleanse his soul. Then I know I am supposed to do something to acquire the mystery of life just like Siddhartha. Therefore I chose to give up speaking mandarin, which is an instinctive action in my daily life. It is interesting that I would like to think for a while when I open my mouth, and I do not know why I feel a little bit guilty when I am speaking mandarin at present, perhaps this is the “sequelae” after my own fast. At the beginning, it is not very easy to give up speaking mandarin, mandarin is my first language and I am used to chatting with others in this way, but this is a proper time to resort to coercive measures to change and get prepared before I getting into universities. In my first try, it looks like someone was holding my neck and I almost cannot breathe when I tried to speak English for every sentence, I have so many things want to tell, but it took me so much time to think on my mind first and I can only speak English intermittently. Then the most awkward thing is I needed to explain the reason why I speak another language instead of my mother tongue to everyone who talked to me, I can find that they took pleasure in my misfortune as well.
