Did you ever wonder how historical events were reflected in the Diary of Anne Frank? Many historical events are seen in the play such as D Day, Nuremberg Laws and the ration books. Dialogue has made a big impact on the playwright because it explains Anne’s story in detail. One historical event that is mentioned in the play is D-Day. On June 6,1944 the Allied troops invaded Normandy and France. This is the main Allied invasion of continental Europe. D-Day has begun. “Did you hear that, everyone?
