Significant Christian Events in Western Europe
Christian faith has been preserved and advanced by hundreds of monumental events from its foundation. Many disputes, creeds, missions, reformers, movements, writings, and edicts helped form Christianity. In fact, these events many small and superficially inconsequential have helped frame what Christianity is today. The following significant Christian events occurred in early Western Europe.
The most important part of Christianity, is conceivably the person that the religion is based upon, Jesus Christ. He was born to the Virgin Mary in 4 B.C. Bethlehem. Mark, who wrote as a pastor, spoke the gospel to Christians who previously had heard and believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He demonstrated an authentic story of Jesus Christ as Servant of the Lord and Savior and of the world hence strengthening their faith. Mark’s gospel is distinctive because it highlights Jesus’ acts more than His teaching; straightforwardly written, it moves from one part to the next of Christ’s life. Moreover, Mark’s gospel is a thorough written account to validate that Jesus is the Messiah, for Gentiles as well as the Jews.

Roman authorities (1) . These Roman persecutions were sporadic, localized, and dependent on the temperament of each emperor, consequently, the number of Christians martyred is unknown. The Roman view of religion was first and foremost a social activity that promoted unity and loyalty to Rome. Roman’s viewed Christianity as a superstition. Over time the Roman revulsion for Christianity, due to the overall belief that it was bad for
