Silence in the Trees War is an art and every country has to deal with it. They all have to learn it or that country won’t last long. One man stuck in a war goes by the name Joshua Clains. He is a United States marksman, which today are called snipers. The year is 1934 in Nazi occupied Germany. The Allies have made a foot hold in a country surrounded on all sides. Joshua is stationed in a military base about 30 miles from German lines and about 200 miles away from the British. Today is the day that Joshua’s life would change forever. On a cold winter morning at about 10 AM when Joshua was called into the sergeant’s quarters. He talked to the sergeant and what he heard made his heart skip a beat.
