Syria & Jordan: How we are Different
Both Syria and Jordan are Islāmic and Arabic countries that seems to looks like each other, despite of the differences. While Jordan has surpassed 6.6 million, Syria has surpassed 23 million, and both are based on the idea of sharing common goals. As we can see compared to Syria whose has 2 capital cities: political one; Damascus and economical one: Aleppo (similar to New York and Washington in the U.S), Jordan has only Amman as a capital city which corresponds with the small population in Jordan.
One of the main differences between both countries is the Economy. The Syrians have powerful sources in Economy. They depend on local agriculture, food, clothes, as well as plastic industry. Syria is full with green lands and natural resources which help with the development all over the country. In Syrian streets, it`s rare to find any worker who is from another country. They depends on the local work forces as they know the secrets of their work which inherited to them among several years. However, foreign investments and trade from China is very common in Jordan. Jordan has Petra, one of the 7th wonders, and Romanian sites like the Roman Theater. In addition, if you`re a tourist visiting a restaurant or a guest who is hosted, in any Jordanians house, you`ll definitely have the opportunities to enjoy the taste of ‘Mansaf’ the main dish in Jordan.
