The idea of communism was introduced by Karl Marx in the 19th century. Communism did not come into power until the 20th century. Russia was first to adopt communism and follow by many nations, including China. After WWI, many nations suffered from wartime shortage, especially Russia. At that time, Chinese people were suffering from the Japanese invasion. Many people felt nationalists allowed foreigner to dominate China. Both Chinese and Russian leaders were forced to give up their thrones. Communism quickly came to power after that. Soviet and Chinese communism were both similar in politics and economics, but different in social.
