Intro:
Many may find it hard to see how the Judeo-Christian origin story could have more than a tiny bit of similarities with the Modern Scientific origin story.
In today’s world, religion and science are often debated in many aspects such as classroom education and human evolution.
A person would be able to recognize many contrasts between these two stories, because one story is in a religious context, while the other is in a scientific context.
The source of the Judeo-Christian origin story was from Genesis, in the first book of the Old Testament, signifying the age of this story and the context of scientific knowledge at that era. 1 - They both have a source of creation :
Both stories would agree about a source of creation, whether it is a tangible being or not. The Judeo-Christian story’s source of creation is God. In the story, God was a part of every piece of creation mentioned in the story. In many sentences of the story, there was a phrase reading that God created, admired, or “said.” It is evident that God was the source of creation in the Judeo-Christian story.
In the Modern Scientific story, the source of creation was the Big Bang theory. It wrote that there was a time, 13.8 billion years ago, where an eruption of energy occurred. It wrote that this eruption explains the expansion and creation the universe, which is still expanding to this day. In the story, this significant event triggered the creation of starts, elements, galaxies, planets, and living organisms through increasing complexity.
