After listening to all civilisations, I noticed the similarities between the different myths in terms of culture, art, architecture, symbolism, and religion. It is obviously beneficial to me, someone who wonders of the study that covers world cultures, and appeals to me on many disciplines such as sociology and philosophy. The first part of this essay discusses areas that interest me and in the second part, how these myths are relevant. Lastly, other information I would like to know. This essay primarily focuses on Inca, Norse and Egyptian civilisations.

The Incas’ stories, especially, describe the movement of planets which were associated with their agricultural cycles for society. The seasons consist of ensuring crops ripened properly, harvesting, sowing crop and pray to the Gods. Myths and religion are centered on the agricultural systems that the Inca implemented such as terracing of steep slopes and systematic cycle are practiced, recognized and relevant till today.
Therefore, myths are relevant to me as it helps me to understand the importance and functions of each civilization. Not only that, myths unfold issues such as moral codes and teachings which still applicable till today.
3. Further information you want to find out about these myths.
I would like to find out more about why the Norse women did not participate in raids despite their responsibilities that they have. As I understand from the presentation, 2 weeks ago, after I enquired the reasons of Norse women being lowly regarded and qualified to participate in battles, the group explains how one held some form of accountability. However, it still leaves me unanswered.
