Romeo and Paris: Different People, Same Desires There is nothing normal about living in Verona. While the two households that hate each other have kids that are in Love with each other. William Shakespeare 's Romeo and Juliet shows two households that despise each other. While two young men by the name of Romeo and Paris, share the same love for the same girl but are different in many ways. Romeo is a who Montague lives in Verona. They both love Juliet. They both belong to rich families and they are living on the higher side of the social classes. Romeo and Paris are alike in many ways such as them being handsome. They are known throughout Verona. Friar. Lawrence knows who they are and they know him. Lord Capulet knows who Romeo and Paris are. Romeo nor Paris are violent regularly but Romeo does get into fights. They both love the same person but Paris was made to love Juliet.
