The “ Medicine bag” and “Apache girl rite of passage” are about two kids that are growing up to become a little bigger than they were. They both go through rituals to be older to show that they are ready to become adults. These stories have some similarities and differences throughout the whole story and video. The “Medicine bag” is a boy and “ Apache girl” is a girl that is going through this ritual.

Similarities for “The medicine bag” and “Apache girl rite of passage” are that one is that both of them are kids growing up to become adults after they are done with what needs to be done for they can be an adult. Both of the kids had to listen to someone to know what to do when it starts so they can do the best so they can be called adults. They had been very happy to be doing it and they did it and when they were at the end of all of it they have grown up because these kids have more responsibilities to go through now. On the other hand the girl has to do a lot more things than the boy does. The girl takes 4 days until she can be called a women and the most important one is through the whole thing she can not show emotion at all. While she is doing all the other activities they are making more than more girl that is doing all the activities. The boy doesn’t have anyone that is doing it with it is just only him. It is only like that because when the owner dies the oldest son gets the bag when the owner dies so it can still go on through the family so it won’t stop.
