Racism, what a small word that has a huge effect on human, society and world. We can feel this dilemma all around the globe like in the Middle East, in Far East, Westside, etc. Racism is defined as Racism is the belief that characteristics and abilities can be attributed to people simply on the basis of their race and that some racial groups are superior to others. Racism and discrimination have been used as powerful weapons encouraging fear or hatred of others in times of conflict and war, and even during economic downturns. It discussed variation of social issues in the 1960s such as racism, violence and gender rules. At that time, People were controlled by the government's rules in Mississippi that prevented them from talking about black people who could not get their rights or about the differences between black people and white people. The story consists of three main characters: Eugenia Phelan who was known as Skeeter, Aibileen Clark and Minny Jackson who lived under different situations. Skeeter, the southern journalist who came lately to her hometown after finishing college, she was trying attract Miss Elain Stein's attention in New York by writing an interesting book. Aibileen the kind black maid who lost her son Treelore before starting to work for Mrs. Elizabeth Leefolt. Minny, Aibileen's best friend, the black maid who used to work for Miss Walter, but after accusing Minny a thief, she loses her job and starts to work for Miss Celia Rae Foote. Those three characters wrote a book telling stories about how it feels like to work for white family as a maid. Although maids were unlovable to white families, white women still needed maids for many aims such as cleaning, cooking and taking care of babies. In the beginning, Skeeter faced many problems to do interviews with other maids and to convince them to share their experience in housekeeping. But after so many bad events such as shooting the police for an innocent African-American man in front of his family and putting an innocent African-American maid in prison for stealing, maids start to deviance on their rights and speak out loud about their stories in the book. As it mentioned earlier, the book was produced as movie and performed by Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and others in 2011.
