A democracy is a form of government that is ruled by the people and controlled by the people. For example, here in the United states which is a democracy, everyone is allowed to vote and have land. Also, everyone is allowed to practice a religion of their choice. Athens was truly democratic because everyone had the equal justice, people were voted into office, and one’s social class did not determine what a person could become. I believe that Everyone is allowed to vote and own land. Here in the United States everyone is allowed to vote and own land. A lot of people back then weren't allowed to vote back then but know everyone is allowed to vote and own land. In the United States everyone is allowed to have any religion of their choice. I think that people should have the choice the religion that they choice to pick that's called freedom of religion. For example other people can't tell you what religion you have to pick because you have the choice to pick the religion you want. I believe that a social class should be allowed to be anything they want to be. I think that the social class is a lot better the then the higher class. But back then they thought that the social class was bad. For example “ Social class is not allowed to interfere with someone’s merit, and poverty does not block the way”. ( document A). I think that the social class should be able to interfere the any other.

That's why I think that ancient athens was truly democratic because all the people should be able to vote and own their own land. Also, I think people should have equal justice and they should be able to vote to go to office. another reason is that social class should be able to interfere with other class.
