The Hunger Games as a movie displays the social classes and differences between the districts and the Capitol.The portrayal of the love triangle is another example of social commentary. The Capitol has extravagant amounts of money and frivolous things that have no value. On the contrary, most of the Districts are very poor and barely have enough food to survive. Although, a fraction of the Districts is favored and given special treatment above the others, these Districts are called the Careers in the Games. During the Games, Careers have the best supplies and training . An example from the movie is when the top Districts arrive at training, pre-trained and intimidate the other players.
