After reading “Marriage and Love” I felt as if I was slapped in the face. It posed ideas and questions that I hadn’t thought of before. The idea that love and marriage are completely two separate things makes sense now that I’ve read the piece but that hasn’t always been my opinion. The reading also points that out, women have been told that their wedding is the greatest time of their life.
