“A story has no beginning or end; arbitrary one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead.”- Graham Greene, The End of the Affair (1951)
Social factors are things that have influenced me to become who I am today. They have shaped my lifestyle and how I see and do things. Some key social factors that have influenced me include my race, sex, weak ties, strong ties, culture and socialization. These social factors have affected me since I was very little just like they affect everyone at a young age. Social factors have had an immense impact on me especially my strong ties to my family and some of my friends. These strong ties have molded my life through the experiences of the things I have seen and the things I have done. I would not be the person I am today without these social factors. These privileges that I have experienced make me react to certains conditions in differents ways. I have experienced different conditions just like everyone else has experienced different cultures, background, and social standards in their life. These life experiences cause each individual to have different opinions. Social factors affect everyone in different ways. That is how a person develops their individual thoughts and characteristics. The primary reason we should be more understanding and have less hate is because no one completely understands what other people have been through and what kind of background and culture someone comes from.
