The Breakfast Club The Breakfast Club is a film about five very different a students who are stuck in detention all day on a Saturday. From the opening scene it is apparent that these students are from very different social groups. The quote that illustrated the real social barriers for me is a quote from a Bender the "rebel" to Andrew the "jock". Bender tells Andrew "Do you think I would speak for you? I don't even know your language.
Television sitcoms of the 1950’s through the 1990’s demonstrated the values and structure of the American family by portraying stereotypes. Since television sets became mainstream and entered almost every American home, the content of American sitcoms has reflected the culture of the times. Thus, as the popular American sitcoms of the 1950’s suggest, families living in the 1950’s were very tightly grouped and did everything together with roles of males and females clearly defined. In the 1950’s women have the housecleaning and child care and men worked, providing for the family. In the sixties, women acquired more freedom in their lives.

One example of why I think the theme in Our Town is companionship is when Emily and George first become friends on the balcony and Emily and George are talking and Emily says "in square yards of wallpaper" And George says wallpaper oh I see thanks Emily thanks . This is when they first start to become friends and even more than just friends a strong companionship .

In the movie The Breakfast Club all the characters have their own personality, but actually have a lot in common. Underneath all that however, she has beliefs and morals that she strongly believes in.

Heartbreak and disloyalty are the start of conflicts all throughout history of minor actions such as books and movie films to substantial problems like world-wide conflicts, proving how hurtful betrayal from a friend, someone viewed and loyal and trustworthy, can truly be. Betrayal of a friend is far worse than hatred of an enemy because that is, a person relied on only to have them backstab their alleged “friend”. It is human nature, part of a person’s innate traits, to have that want or need to have someone deemed as dependable and sincere and have that privilege to call them a friend. When someone is turned on by someone they truly believe would never hurt them, it tends to have an importance to that person beyond that moment. Anytime in a person’s life, it is almost impossible to not have any kind of friend whether it be a co-worker, family member, significant other or classmate, there really is always a person to have that good bond with.

Marko finds everyone and everything that is said irritating to him and he gives other members condescending looks when they make a contribution. Marko looks visibly upset and often shakes his head and grumbles silently when the group leader speaks; and (2) Jasmina sits and watches Marko. She also becomes upset because she also doesn’t want to be a participant in this therapy group. She gets encouragement from Marko’s behavior to frequently voice her displeasure of being in the class.
At our first few meetings, team building was key. In an effort to overcome the initial shyness, we took the time to understand and get to know our fellow team members; in doing so, establishing a welcoming and encouraging environment for everyone to share their ideas whist too ensuring everyone felt appreciated. Getting the team to gel was essential for the team to get results. We met at regular intervals, usually weekly, to discuss and reassess our progress. However, finding the time to meet proved quite difficult, between everyone’s busy schedules and with the plenty of other assignments we all had going on simultaneously.
