I had a some new knowledge about social media after a period of discussion with my group members. Social Media is consumer generated media It is media that is designed to be shared, sharing means that it is easy to comment on, that it is easy to send, there are no costs associated with viewing the media and last but not least it is always available. My group members come from different countries and have different cultural backgrounds. That means we have a different understanding of social media. Although we come from different countries with different cultural backgrounds, we still communicate with each other with both verbal communication and non- verbal communication and we have a good time together(Klopf and McCroskey, 2007). Everyone does their part for the team, not blaming the other person when they fail, but comforting and accommodating everyone in the verbal communication way(Samovar & Porter, 1991). Because we come from different countries, in them I have learned not to work in a team with ethnocentrism, because it makes people of different races feel unhappy. As an Asian, I was lucky not to be prejudiced by the team, and everyone was very friendly. In my future life and work, I will always remember the knowledge and skills learned in this team work. Correct my attitude towards others, respect everyone in my cooperation, and not be biased because of other people's age, sex or race.
