People think social media sites such as TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram should be held accountable for the deaths of children due to challenges. Parents are outraged and they believe they should be held responsible. Social media platforms should not be held legally accountable for the deaths of children. These children that do these deadly challenges choose to do them at their own will. The only thing these sites can do is monitor and make sure that these challenges are not on their platform. They cannot physically stop them, they can only do so much to help the issue.
