This comparison puts a thought in the back of every viewer's mind that social media is inherently a “drug”, suggesting that it is addictive and harmful.
As Ramasubbu points out, "thirty-two percent of online teens admit to having expirienced a range of menecing online advances form others. " Ramasubbu also mentions that only thirteen percent of surveyed youngsters admitted to recieving threatening or aggressive messages.
