Social media has indeed taken it past the okay point. From cyberbullying, to public saftey, and even taking away from people's families. There are many more reasons social media is out of control, but these are just some of the few main highlight points. Cyberbullying is a huge issue on social media. There are many different ways to bully, but on the internet it is much easier for the bully concidering the bully never actually sees the victims face. As Ramasubbu points out, "thirty-two percent of online teens admit to having expirienced a range of menecing online advances form others." Ramasubbu also mentions that only thirteen percent of surveyed youngsters admitted to recieving threatening or aggressive messages. You can drive down the road on any given day and see way more than one person on their cell phones. While driving, operating any type of transportation, or simply being a pedestrian it is so important that you pay attention to what your doing by not being on social media, because in doing this you are insuring that you are doing everything you possibly can to keep yourself and others around you safe. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Texting and Snapchat are all fun and games, but it can wait.
