Anti-social Media “Social Media is Now Anti-social,” the short opinion based editorial written by Nicholas Johnson in 2023, shines light on the malicious uses of social media. Johnson uses many references to the past in order to examine the difference between today's generation and the generations that grew up without the easy accessibility to social media. Using social media opens the door to many dangers such as cyberbullying, mental illness, false ads, and releases of personal information.
