English IV We have been taught a variety of themes in this course and the one that has stuck to me and the most important is perception and point of view. I’ve learned how to see the world and people around me after reading the novel. People can learn from seeing the changes in Montag when he begins to feel out of place and question the society around him about how books are banned and cannot be allowed to value learning from them. I couldn’t pay attention in class for more than 5 mins without picking up my phone to check if I received a text message or going on Tikok. I also realized that I would procrastinate on homework that I should’ve been getting done or simply doing my job at work without the constant looking at my phone. When I started to learn about the impact of social media during this course I started to realize social media had a bad impact on the whole world around me. Students constantly on their
