Racial profiling is the discrimination done with the individual's by comparing them with others on the basis of superiority and inferiority based on ethic, skin colour, gender and mental abilities. The dark skinned people are the major victims of racial profiling. They are one who often faces problems like humiliation, embracement and are suspected the most when any kind of miss happening takes place. Because of racial profiling ebony often become prey of embracement and humiliation which leads to mental harassment. Keisha was accused by a white student that she had stolen her $11. Keisha was taken to principal office and was stripped searched for money and no money was found from her.Her mother, Mabline Quince registered a case against the school because her daughter was mentally harassed and physically tortured because she was wrongfully connected to stealing. This incident lead to mental embarrassment ,humiliation and cause damage to her reputation(Jet. Vol 90. Issue 8, p26. 2p.). Even Brent Staples in his essay also narrates an incident when he enters a jewelry store where the owner of that store though that he was a burglar so she immediately brings out her dog and Staples got scared on seeing dog and he just bid her good night and returns back. Instead of that the black people are given equal opportunities same as those of white people. According to them root of racism has lost its veins and dark sinned people are given all the respect and status in society that they deserve. Study conducted by US Bureau of Census shows that more number of people are getting their high school diploma and the numbers are about even when between people of different races(Jet. Vol 92. Issue 13, p22. 1/2p).

According to my perception, racial profiling still exist and it is like a venom which is poisoning the roots of humanity. There are many places where practise of racial profiling is still practiced. People are still discriminated and mentally harassed only on the reason that they belong to different race. The only way to curb this practice is by raising above our narrow minded thinking. The first step to finish this discrimination is by considering all the people of different races equal.
