Among all the theories that were discussed in class, my favorite are the sociocultural and biological perspectives because together they both simply explain how we came to be. The biological perspective focuses on scientific studies done on the brain and how the human brain operates, while the sociocultural states that we are heavily shaped and influenced by the environment around us.
I believe that they key to understanding human behavior and mental processes is by looking at the way the brain works and why it reacts the way it does to different situations.
