After looking at the five sociometric status groups described in chapter 12, I would have to say as a child I belonged to “average children”. Reason being, I wasn’t popular or overly accepted but at the same time I did not experience a high level of rejection from my peers. There seemed to be a balance, but of course in certain areas of life you will find that some people might not like you but then there are also others who will like you. The pro’s of belonging to this group is that early on your able to experience the reality of life, what I mean by that is the “Average Children” group has a balance of acceptance and rejection. An that's a lot like life your going to come across people that like and dislike you, and that's a part of life
