If you see someone struggling with something just try to help out. Also try to be kind to others because you don’t know what they are going through. What I liked about the book is when Papa came to Francisco graduation. The part of the book that i didn’t like is when Papa didn’t go to most of Francisco’s graduation’s.
The book really made me think of all the stuff that I take for granted, and how I should be more appreciative and how there are people with less than me who are just as happy if not happier. If you’re not a fan of books that are sad but shocking and at times harsh because you think they’re boring or they don’t fulfill you’re interests, then I would still recommend you try reading the book because it’s very intriguing but I can’t guarantee you’ll love it, and if you do enjoy books like that then I say it’s a must read! The book consists of many compelling short stories that revolve around the major conflict, which allowed me to read the book without losing interest. However, the book was not just entertaining to read, but taught me many life lessons and allowed me to realize many important facts. For example, in the book, Denver and Ron are two opposite people that have virtually nothing in common and are actually a little bit scared of each other at first. However, after they decide to reach out to one another, they not only become best friends, but end up changing each others’ lives for the better. This reminded me that I could be a little bit more outgoing and friendly in life, reaching out to other people instead of seeing the same couple of faces every day.
With many problems stemming from each other, the book keeps readers interested in how the ordeal will work out. For instance, the conflict between Reuven, his professor, and the Gordons keeps people reading eagerly and with trepidation– will Reuven follow his professor’s warning that he should “not set foot in that school,” or will Reuven continue to see the Gordons? In biology, essentialism is the idea that all organisms and species were unchanging throughout time. Up until Darwin’s Origin of Species, the prevailing view on biological species was that all organisms were made without accident and would never change. Essentialism also promoted the idea that all organisms that had lived on the earth were currently there; species neither evolved nor underwent extinction (Marshall, 2015). Nearly every modern scientist views this as an incorrect assessment of biology, and that organisms on the planet are constantly changing and evolving. It took many years for evolution to become the prevalent thought process, however.
