Giving up something important for love can give others something better. In “Silverado for Sale” Morgan Wallen sings about his Silverado and how he has to give it up for someone he loves. In the song, Morgan Wallen talks about how much he loves this girl and how there is a ring just down the street he wants to buy. Morgan Wallen can not afford the ring so he wants to sell his Silverado truck to buy one. He has a very special connection to the truck so when he sells it he talks about everything the truck will give someone else if they buy it.
“Became” by Atmosphere and My Child Atmosphere’s song “Became” tells the story of a man’s worry, fear, and anxiety over another person’s life path. In part one of the book it discusses the elements of music including the musical form in where songs utilize binary, call and response form, or ternary. One song that my brother and I grew up listening to, though it is a really old song, and uses call-and-response is “Shout” by The Isley Brothers. I believe that the song “Shout” uses call-and-response form because there is a constant question-and-answer pattern. An example of the call-and-response is “Don’t forget to say you will”…and Rudy and O 'Kelly join in by saying… “Say you
Ethan was everything Pattyn needed because he showed her how a man was supposed to treat a lady and how real men do not put their fingers on women. Ethan also made Pattyn feel like she was the prettiest girl in the world, and no one has ever made her feel that way, not even her parents. "There Goes My Life" performed by Kenny Chesney (Songwriters: Wendell Mobley and Neil Thrasher) (Link to Lyrics) "There Goes My Life" by Kenny Chesney is a very heartbreaking song about a young man who just found out that his significant other is having a child and how his life is over. The poem has actually expressed the casual behavior of society towards abuse victims. People only use words as an expression but do not come for actual help. Nobody claims to be there for the victim instead they keep on carrying meaningless conversations which are not aimed in actually bettering off the conditions of the abuse victims. The word ‘Poem’ expresses the same notion of just using words but offering no help for the injured bodies.
This particular poem is about parents that have no idea what's going on in their kid's daily life and what they go through. With this type of action, the parents act as if all is good and make little to no effort to get involved in their day to day activities. This shows the kid that the parent does not care or seems like it. The kid will be influenced to do things they normally wouldn't do. If the parent would at least make an attempt to get involved, it may influence them for the better but until then it will not happen.

Even though it was difficult to choose only one song because of how broad my musical taste is none of those songs made me feel as unique and beautiful as this song does. My options varied from Eminem’s crazy rap to Beyoncé’s sassy rhythm but at the end I decided on a song that has prevailed beautiful for many, many the years and still might be something new for my peers. I wanted to show the class something they probably haven’t heard of and hopefully make some of them curious about the genre or the artist. I chose this song because I wanted to give them the opportunity to try new rhythms, lyrics, genres, and just things in general and showed them how special and incredible this song can be if understood correctly.
