However,today i will be addressing a topic that I find more important.This topic is affecting 45 million people, or 14.5 percent of all Americans. The topic I will be addressing is poverty. In 2016, the poverty rate was increased to 12.7 percent of the U.S. As the statistic shows poverty in the U.S is only growing and isn't being seen or talked about.
