Rihanna I chose to write about the famous singer Rihanna. Rihannas full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Rihanna was born on February 20 in 1988, on the Caribbean island Barbados. Rihanna's music career began when she was 16 years old, when she and her two friends managed to score an audition with the music producer Evan Rogers. The music producer was really impressed by Rihanna's outstanding talent anyhow the unfortunate part of this case was that he was not as impressed by the other two girls and he couldn’t see a future for them as a group. The same year as the audition, Rihanna began to pack her suitcase to follow Rogers to America and move in with him and his wife in Connecticut to start her career for real. Rihanna signed a contract with Def Jam Records in 2005 after she had been on an audition and performed in front of, the company’s president at the time, the famous hip-hop producer and rapper Jay-Z. In 2007 she released her third album, named ‘Good girl gone bad’. You might say this was when she went through a transformation from this cute pop girl to a more ‘hardcore’ and edgy superstar.
