We are lucky that we live in a country that has many rights, the most important is the freedom of speech, it helps us to protect our remaining rights. Freedom is an innate right, humans are born with. Nothing should threaten our freedom, deprive us from our right, also our right of freedom must never harm any other human being, directly or indirectly. We must respect freedom of everyone in the society. This way we can enjoy our freedom through our life.
The main reason why, I choose this topic, is the most common problem, which we have about this issue. Even the most diehard advocates of free speech accept that it must have some practical restrictions in the interests of public safety and in order to protect other kinds of rights. People claim to want freedom, but they also seem to need limitations on that freedom.
Some laws are not designed to limit freedom of expression, but nevertheless can have that effect. In general, people do not agree with the government controlling what they can and cannot do to themselves, it should be no one’s decision but your own if you want to be homeless, drug addicted, prostitute. As long as, the only damage you inflict is on yourself.
There are so many different views what freedom truly means, and what influences it has on our daily lives. Freedom to me is very important in life. To me, the word freedom is being able to achieve anything you want to. It is being able to change your surrounding an environment how you want to be. If you don’t have a freedom, you don’t have a life. Freedom is a wonderful thing when you think about it. Freedom is more than just a guaranteed right. Freedom grants individuality and opportunity to everyone. The basic word “freedom” is appealing to most cultures, emotionally, and is used very often in political speech, it can be interpreted various ways, because there are so many freedoms that are available to discuss and consult. If people were not allowed basic freedoms such as freedom of speech, the world would be a drastically different place to live in.
