Specific purpose: (I want my audience)…to I want to persuade my audience to be less materialistic by showing them the causes and dangers of being too money-oriented as well as showing them how they can do their part in making society less materialistic. Central Idea: Materialism is a social construct that can be dangerous and hence we should all try to be less money-oriented by using social media responsibly, shopping less, participating in more non-materialistic activities and having a moral compass. ___________________________________________________________________ Introduction I.
