In View of Bashkim’s chapter in the novel We Are Called to Rise, the author Laura Mcbride creates an event of introducing a character from Avis’s chapter, Nate in Bashkim chapter of a cop pulling over Bashkim parents, Nene and Baba, his little sister Tirana and himself which led to the death of Nene being shot by the police officer Nate.
