Steve Irwin, the famous Crocodile Hunter, has saved over 100,000 animals in his life and has become a well-known figure around the world for his studies in wildlife, and his hit tv shows on Animal Planet. When people think of Irwin, they think of a smiling Australian who was always around some type of dangerous animal, and although that’s a perfect description, many people thought that that was all there was to him when in reality he had to face challenge after challenge to get to where he did. He was an animal activist and spent his life trying to protect what he loved by becoming an Animal Rescuer, and spent years trying to come up with ways to protect the animals, but even after his death, his discoveries in Ecotourism are still being used today.

In Steve Irwin: Not a True ‘Wildlife Warrior’ it claims that Irwin interferes with nature, jumps on the animals, grabs them, holds them, and has this very, very spectacular, dramatic way of presenting things. He faced tons of backlash from people who were saying that Steve was doing more harm than good. Even though the amount of criticism online was getting to be very noticeable, Steve ignored it and continued his way of helping out the animals. Irwin had spent years trying to perfect his way of capturing animals without hurting them, so the people criticizing him were like a slap in the face, but he never let it get to him. The criticism was getting so heated that even after his death, PETA (a non-profit organization for the ethical treatment of animals), continued to attack him.
