On December 23, 1981, Thomas Sophonow, a Canadian man, was wrongfully accused of murder. 16 year old Barbara Stoppel was ruthlessly killed at the washroom of her workplace. Furthermore, while Thomas Sophonow was in custody, he showed an undercover officer a door locking technique.
It may seem like another black and white sibling rivalry murder, but it’s the farthest thing from it. The investigation of the murder of Stephanie Crowe may have started in 1998, but to this day they still don’t have any real justice for the young girl who was senselessly murdered in her sleep. That morning after the crime they took the Crowe family into custody and interviewed them each separately. The night of the murder, the grandmother reported to have heard several loud noises and heard her bedroom door open and close. Yet, she ignored them and did not get up until 6:30am when she heard Stephanie’s alarm clock going off down the hall and found the young girl in the doorway of her bedroom, with blood all over her bed and the floor.
On March 1, 1932, in the Lindbergh’s peaceful home in Hopewell, the son of world-famous aviator Charles Lindbergh Sr. was snatched from his nursery and was later found dead. Charles Lindbergh Jr.’s kidnapping and murder shocked the entire nation, and remains unsolved to this day. After having analyzed many sources, it is evident that Bruno Richard Hauptmann and John Knoll are responsible for the kidnapping and murder of baby Charles Lindbergh Jr., because Hauptmann had a history of using ladders in his past crimes, there are many pieces of evidence proving that two people committed the crime, and there is also a lot of proof to show that John knoll was involved as well. First of all, Hauptmann had a history of using ladders to commit crimes, and a rung of wood in the ladder used it the kidnapping matched the wood in his attic. In the PBS Nova Video, “Who Killed the Lindbergh Baby?”, it states, “He [Hauptmann] did use a ladder to climb into the second story window of the mayor's house and stole some money and watches… history of using ladders to commit crimes.”
A woman named Esther Carlson was arrested for the murder of an elder man for his money after poisoning him. “According to one press report, investigators examining a trunk in her room found, lying at the bottom, a picture of Belle Gunness with three of her children. Ms. Carlson died in jail before she could stand trial, and before any connection between her and Belle Gunness could be confirmed. However, two former LaPorte residents, then living in Los Angeles, were allowed to view her body at the morgue and are said to have come away convinced that the body they saw there was that of Belle Gunness” (Marimen et al., 2008, p. 97).

It had been claimed that Ned Kelly had taken up arms in April 1878 for the intention of shooting police but as six months had passed since the alleged shooting of Constable Fitzpatrick (who would later be dismissed from the police force as a liar, drunkard and perjurer) and the Stringybark Creek tragedy, there was not a robbery or any other offence reported of having been committed by Ned or his brother Dan. After his mother was convicted (and two innocent men) for aiding and abetting in the shooting of Constable Fitzpatrick, (Judge Barry sentenced Ned to fifteen years gaol without a trial?) Ned returned (was Ned involved?) with the intention of working a still to make whisky, as it was the only means to obtain money quickly to procure a new
