INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Introduction
K-12 is an education system where the students would be challenged and they would furnish their own skills and abilities in what they wish to do (Anonymous, 2012). The senior high school encompasses the final 2 years of K-12, where the students can discover things that could aid them in their college life or in the hereafter. Junior high school students should learn how to make decisions that could help them in the future. Junior high school students in Al Danah International School (ADIS) have their own strengths and weaknesses, and once that the students learn to improve their strength and diminish their weaknesses; they can be one of the greatest people who lived on earth. In that respect, here are the different strands offered in senior high school that a student can choose, the General Academic Strand (GAS), Humanities and Social Sciences Strand (HUMSS), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Strand (STEM), Accountancy, Business and Management Strand (ABM), and Pre-Baccalaureate Maritime (DepEd,2017). Students, nowadays, are more modern or more skilled at their young age and with the study, they can learn how to decide which strand they will need in order for them to offer their skills. Junior high school students engage in many dreams. They require to accomplish their own separate ends and to be successful. The only thing missing is their capacitance to make choices of their own.
