Romeo and Juliet Problems People wonder why suicide happens, but they never do anything to prevent it. They stand there and hope it was all a dream, just like the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. As many people know the story of Romeo and Juliet, but many people wonder who to blame for their deaths. The family, the kids themselves, or just other people that were in the play. William Shakespeare, the author of this play, made it to blame more than one person. In the play Romeo and Juliet end up falling in love with each other, but their parents don’t enjoy each other’s company it makes it harder for the kids to be happy. One of the people to blame for their deaths would have to be Friar Lawrence because his plan doesn’t fully go through. His plan was that he was going to give Romeo a letter telling him that Juliet isn’t dead, but she's waiting for him when she wakes up. So during this process, Juliet is upset that Romeo is band, so Friar decides to take a chance as he says, (Friar); “Take tho this vial being then in bed, and this distilling liquor drink thou off” (4.1.93.94). Meaning she should drink this “poison” and you should be awaken in a few hours to see Romeo.
