Sulphur is a yellowish, non-metallic chemical element in the periodic table. It is found in group 6 and period 3. Sulphur is identified by the letter S. Since Sulphur is the 16th Element of the periodic table therefore atomic number is always similar as the proton number which is located in the nucleus and converts the nucleus in to a positive charge as neutron is a neutral charge (+-) so positive (+) plus neutral (+-) equals a positive charge.
The atomic mass for sulphur is 32 amu or (Atomic Mass Unit is the international system of units). The melting point of sulphur is 112.8 °C and the boiling point of Sulphur is 444.6 °C. Sulphur has an equal number of proton and neutron due to its atomic mass subtracted by the proton/atomic number. Sulphur …show more content…

Sulfur in the soil is generally in a sulphate form, and microbes change it to sulphide compounds that enter the soil solution and can be taken up by plant roots for growth.

It is also said that when there is too much sodium in the plant can cause toxicity but more importantly it reacts on plant tissues just as it does on ours. An effect called osmotion occurs when important water that is needed by the plant to photosynthesise is diverted or loosen.
• Too much salt in the plant can also increase toxic level leading to wilting and slow growth of plants. That is why sulphur is used to flush out excessive sodium out of the plant. Not only that excess amount of water needs to be added as sodium can form a mixture with water and lower down the concentration of the sodium content. In addition this is also known as diffusion.
• Sulfur fertilizers are also good to use in plants because it has a higher Nitrogen, Potassium, and Phosphorus including sulphur levels and they are always ready to support plants if any serious situation occurs. Sulfur fertilizer is defined as any inorganic material of wholly or partially synthetic origin that is added to soil to sustain plant
