Which is ironic because looking at the things that are happening today and what happened in the past it is safe to say that blacks are no where near privileged. So that is where the sarcasm kicks in, Parks goes on to saying that she’s privileged enough to have money to pay and buy these treatments to restrict her from hating herself because she is black. Tired from what? Tired from society who makes them feel ugly in their own skin. A society who does not accept you if you are not a white person.
