The book I read is called Arctic Autumn: A Journey to Season’s Edge. This book was written by Pete Dunne. This book was published in 2011 and was published in New York, New York. Also, this book was published by the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company. Dunne complexly and intricately describes the Arctic climate, its history, and its natural beauty. My non-fiction book has a great number of interesting facts that I have not heard of before. While I have a large appreciation for the Arctic, I discovered that the Arctic has not been well-known of. Dunne tells some of the most fascinating adventures he had embarked on with his fellow friends. However, some did not go so well. Dunne wanted to embark on a journey to the Arctic because he wanted to write down more of his once-in-a-lifetime experiences. His wife, Linda, wanted to shoot some photographs of the most incredible places on earth. The couple decided to travel to Northern Canada because the location was not far away and Northern Canada had many wonders. After their decision, they decided to go along with a couple of their friends. Dunne even had a friend who was Inuit, and his friend knew about the way of life in the Arctic. Dunne mentions that his friend was a tremendous help to his crew. After the plans, the group finally got a permit stating that the group could explore in the Arctic. Dunne was quite astonished by this news and finally, he and his beloved friends got to explore the unknown region. At one point in the novel, Dunne mentioned that his crew set camp on a bluff. Linda had the opportunity to shoot some excellent and spot-on photos, while Dunne had the opportunity to let his mind wander about the Arctic, as he did so in the book. Shortly after, there was a meltdown that was happening near their campsite. The group of 10 true adventurers had to search for another suitable site for their camp. Although it required the use of some boating equipment, the troop eventually found a decent
