At far glance we see a plain sword, but once the picture is zoomed in, the reader can see all the details that actually are on the sword. It also means that the artist wants us to focus on the smallest detail at a certain point of the

In the short story " Ambush " by Tim O'Brien, the artistic value surpasses the short story " Big Boy " by David Sedaris because of the way Tim uses dialogue, the time moving technique and the way he wrote his story as a first person different from David helped the story be more interesting. The first thing comes in readers’ mind is time moving. People will be really impressed by the way Tim used it to describe the time passes and his day dream moment. In The Puzzle of Experience, J. J. Valberg argues that, concerning the content of our visual experience, there is contention between the answer derived from reasoning and that found when 'open to experience '. The former leads to the conviction that a physical object can never be “the object of experience,” while with the latter “all we find is the world” (18). After first clarifying what is meant by 'object of experience ', the 'problematic reasoning ' will then be detailed. Afterwards, it will be explained how being 'open to experience ' opposes the reasoning, as well as why the resulting “puzzle” cannot be easily resolved. Lastly, a defence of Valberg 's argument will be offered on the grounds that it relevantly captures how we understand our visual
Art is created by artists with certain purposes, which either indicate concepts that can not be simply expressed, or resonate with viewers to ponder ideas deeply over. Millie Chen, as the Canadian visual artist, creates art with the purpose of asking questions. Her recent digital projection and audio component, Tour, brings forward a question which warrants careful consideration. The exhibition was installed in Vtape, a small room with sound and a wall for projection.
Once again, chapter 3 of “Blown to Bits” talks about the privacy of our technological devices, and how we can protect ourselves. The chapter talks about how there are “Ghosts in the machines” which could mean that what we delete is not really deleted. I find this to be scary since so many things are done on technology these days. After reading this chapter it is clear that people’s information in which they store online can be easily accessed. When it comes to devices we must be careful with what we use them for so that way our privacy is protected from hackers.

Graphic Design has always been an ever evolving and changing field. Graphic design-like activities can be found throughout history like the ancient cave paintings or the manuscript of the Middle Ages. As the true purpose of graphic design is to communicate, technology has since made this process more effective, extending the reach and spread of information. This allows graphic design to have a higher level of impact that cannot be achieved without the use of technology.
