The film produced by Robert Kenner called food inc, is a documentary based on Eric Schlosser's book Fast Food Nation. The filmmaker Robert Kenner reveals how the food industry of our country works. It shows the weak point of this highly mechanized industry, that has been hidden from many American consumers but with the consent of the agencies and government regulators. The documentary shows that currently a handful of corporations takes control over a large supply of food, and often prioritize their profits over the consumer’s health, the livelihood of farmers, the safety of workers and the environment.

they use a woman in the movie as an example of good judgment. She owns a traditional chicken house with two little windows, which in this case is good in order to get air in and out. However, during the video we could see how the company wanted the owner to change the chicken house to a new kind of house with no windows, which was extremely dark inside. The owner refused to that change and as a result of that regrection she lost her contract with the company. But it give us a good lesson which is that even though the decision of the woman has a major consequence, she shows good judgment by not changing her chicken house to something that would affect her chickens without having good air and stuck in …show more content…

It can be through evidence and logic (Profesor Sells). Logos answers the kinds of evidence that the author use to support his statement or his point of view. Therefore, one of the most important key evidence found in the movie, is how companies run their factories and how they are ignorant about reviewing or changing their policies for the good of the people, and how food gets processed and wrongs that go along with it. The movie food inc shows statistics to help support their claim, for example, in that part when they say that there are usually 280,000 to 300,000 chickens in one single chicken house, which seems to be a lot for one chicken house, also being confirmed by the source of images and videos during the movie. Another example is when they said that the amount of food safety inspections decreased from 50,000 to 9,000. Also another kind of evidence that the movie uses is the information given point of views from people experiences, in this case farmers.. The conclusion of the movie is to be careful of what society chooses to eat and to be aware of how food is actually processed (Rowen S.).
