Scripture reveals the structure of this conversation, which is marked by three moments: God's total purpose, which is God's ultimate goal of creating a community of the blessed united with God in vision, love, and joy. The second is the free will of humanity in response to God's plan, this is the aspect that maintains God's sovereignty while providing space for human freedom and choice. Lastly, God's response to humanity's response. This is the ultimate conversation between God and beings that are free, demonstrating how God works in harmony with creation.
